RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, April 04, 2013 -- The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences (http://www.thehamner.org) has announced that its scientists have been recognized with 12 awards from the Society of Toxicology (SOT), a professional organization committed to creating a safer and healthier world by advancing the science of toxicology, at the group's 52nd annual meeting held March 10-14 in San Antonio, Texas. The honors follow an impressive presence at the meeting that consisted of nearly 50 presentations by Hamner scientists.
