Research

My research at The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences focuses on developing a physiologically based pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PBPK/PD) model for N-methyl carbamate exposures and its application to risk assessments and interpretation of human biomonitoring data. My research emphasis will be on developing a means to integrate in vitro data, pharmacokinetic data, and statistical tools to efficiently develop a human PBPK/PD model for carbaryl exposure, which can contribute to reduce the need for the use of in vivo human data.
